Rivard Photography has been in business for over 15 years. With a modest beginning shooting product photography, local bands/musicians and commercial portraiture, I have sculpted my photographic style by leaning heavily on my innate compassion for the human experience.

Upon graduating from Webster University with a BA in Photography, I continued freelancing and working on exhibiting my fine art in local galleries and juried competitions. My continuing studies led me to pursue a MA in Marriage & Family Counseling. Can you see where this is going? During my graduate studies a coworker insisted I photograph her wedding, which would be my first. I did and subsequently found the ideal blend of my passions.

My desire to listen, observe and genuinely help guide individuals was instrumental to my development not only as a wedding photographer but helped further shape my artistic, intuitive and naturalist style in all areas of my photographic work.
